Experience

CURRENT Projects

542 E. Central Avenue, Santa Ana, CA
Previously the location of Delhi Community Center, this project will result in the construction of two, two-story single family residences. Design features include: The homes will be built to meet 80% AMI guidelines. Project partners include: Kevin L. Crook Architects, Tait & Associates Engineering, Affordable Housing Clearinghouse, St. Joseph Health System Community Benefit, and the City of Santa Ana. Marketing, sales and buyer education will be handled through Affordable Housing Clearinghouse.

Phoenix House – Santa Ana, CA

With the assistance of Golden State Foods Foundation and the Pacific Life Foundation, Hope Builders and Phoenix House undertook a series of renovation projects at its Santa Ana facility. The project was completed in three separate phases and consisted of the remodeling of classrooms and multi-purpose rooms as well as dormitory space. The scope of work included such tasks as replacing exterior siding with new masonite siding, replacing windows to more efficient windows, replacing light fixtures, installation of carpet in offices, construction of new office space, dry walling of classrooms, paint throughout, installing of resilient tile floors, and the replacement of interior and exterior doors.



Completed Projects

Logan Neighborhood – 1006, 1012, and 1015 N. Logan, Santa Ana, CA 92705
Through a collaboration between Orange County Community Housing Corporation, Taller San Jose and the City of Santa, Hope Builders was awarded a contract to build three single family units in the historic Logan barrio in Santa Ana. The project consisted of two, two-story and one single-story single family homes ranging from 1640-1960 square feet with a total project budget of just over $1.5 million. The homes feature the following amenities: The project was delivered on time, and on budget.

Orange County Conservation Corps – Anaheim, CA
A tenant improvement project for a commercial facility used for education, on-the-job training programs and administrative activities. The scope of work included the installation of numerous materials and systems including: carpeting throughout facility, windows in classroom areas to create more open views, instant hot water units to women’s and men’s bathrooms, molding, and drywall in the warehouse area to reduce noise levels into offices. In addition, the project called for replacement of lighting fixtures, painting, and the construction of a new conference room.
